TN Professional worker visa
The TN visa is designed to allow skilled Canadian and Mexican professionals on specific occupations under the NAFTA to work in the U.S. on a yearly basis. The TN application process is filed if the employer is the petitioner while the foreign professional worker is the beneficiary. The foreign worker must possess at least a bachelor's degree or the equivalent.
The TN visa is suitable for Canadian and Mexican professionals in the engineering field, technology and software development. There's no limit on the number of years the worker can remain, but the TN visa has to be renewed on a yearly basis.
If you would like to speak with an experienced immigration lawyer in the hear of Silicon Valley about the TN-1 / TN-2 status to hire professional foreign workers, contact the San Jose immigration attorneys of Muston & Jack, P.C., and schedule a time to meet via telephone or in person to discuss the situation in detail.
